Goalpara English School, a premier English medium secondary institution of Goalpara District, was established in 1991, aiming at imparting quality education to the students. The first batch from the school appeared in the HSLC exam under SEBA in the year 1994 and recorded hundred percent success followed by a uniform brilliant results till date. It is worth mentioning that four students from this school obtained positions in the HSLC exam and also four students secured highest marks in different subjects.
