The school became a full-fledged secondary school in the year 2002 and the first batch of 13 students passed out of the school in 2003 with flying colours, but on that day of result declaration something irked Mr. Deba Mohan Baruah when an exceptionally talented and studious candidate secured relatively low marks than his potential. That incident failed to satiate the Director of the School, he leaned towards thinking that there was a flaw somewhere in the Board. And from that year onwards he began his quest to affiliate the school under CBSE. Finally the school has been affiliated to CBSE, Delhi on 23/11/2012. It is Affilated to CBSE with Affilation No. 230123
