Kendriya Vidyalaya, Khatkati, is situated in the group centre of CRPF in Khatkati ,Karbi Anglong, District, (ASSAM). The school was established in the year 1995 up to class V. It is a fast growing school providing the quality education up to class XII Science & Kendriya Vidyalaya, Khatkhati was established in the year 1995 and is run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body of the Ministry of Human Resources Development (HRD). Admissions is open for all the students irrespective of caste, creed or religion. As per KVS guidelines seats are filled in category wise on a priority basis. The vidyalaya is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, following uniform syllabus set by Kendriya Vidyalaya Khatkhati is a 'Miniature India' in itself and tries to inculcate in its students feelings of Patriotism, Brotherhood and National Integration. The Vidyalaya is sponsored by Civil Paramilitary (CRPF). The Vidyalaya maintains a high standard of academic excellence with the help of highly qualified and efficient faculties and also provides facilities for all-round development of its students by giving ample opportunities for games/sports/scouts & guides and Co-Curricular activities (C.C.A). Computer education is also an offer for students from class III onwards. Our students have been admitted in various prestigious Medical/Engineering colleges of the country. The academic year commences from April and closes in March the following year. Vidyalaya timing is 07:30 A.M. to 01:40P.M for students and 07:30 AM to 03:00 P.M for teachers
