Kendriya Vidyalaya Udalguri was opened in the academic session 2010-11 and inaugurated on 16 August 2010 by Hon’ble Minister of PHED Govt. of Assam Mr. RihonDaimari in August presence of Mr. S.S. MeenakshiSunderam, IAS, the then Deputy Commissioner, Udalguri (B.T.A.D).Kendriya Vidyalaya Udalguri is under MHRD, Govt. of India and exclusively administered by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under Ministry of HRD Govt. of India. The Vidyalaya is under Civil Sector and sponsored by Govt. of Assam. The Vidyalaya is running in a temporary accommodation and with sufficient space and infrastructure. Presently running up to Class X during Session 2017-18. Sh.Dilip Kumar Das, Deputy Commissioner, Udalguri is the Chairman of the Vidyalaya. Sh. Richand Ahmed, is the Chairman’s Nominee and Sh. S. K. Jha is the Principal of the Vidyalaya.The Vidyalaya has well equipped Computer Lab and Indoor Sports room.
