Founded in 2006, The School of Modern Skills (SMS) is a private school for internationally-minded families residing around the Dubai area where we are located. We are a family oriented school welcoming students from all cultures and religions. We offer an adapted and customized US Curriculum based on the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics and the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for Science. The Ministry of Education program is used for Arabic, Islamic Education and Social Studies. We aim to provide learning opportunities that appropriately challenge every child, allowing them to happily learn in a safe and caring environment.
