Episode 2: A Symposium on Mind Over Matter – The Science of Learning Power

Episode 2 in the series of Demystifying ZQ for Students

This symposium is the second episode in a series of ten symposia entitled Demystifying ZQ and it’s aimed at students, parents, teachers and other stakeholders in education. During this symposium, we’ll look at learning power and its key components as well as a quotient that measures it. We’ll discuss how students can improve their ability to learn in a wide range of contexts, using diverse methods and strategies. We’ll look at the necessary skills and dispositions that enable students to face challenges, pursue new knowledge, learn from their mistakes and persist in their efforts to achieve their goals, contribute to society and flourish in the 21^st century.

The symposium aims to address questions such as:

  How can teachers help their students improve their learning power?

  How can school leaders support their teachers in helping students build their learning power?

Certification

This symposium is certified by Qualifications and Assessments International (QAI), UK, a private international awarding, accrediting, assessing and quality assurance body, specialising in teacher training, teaching qualifications and assessments.

To get a Certificate of Participation, you must attend the programme for minimum 30 minutes. If you meet the certification requirements, your digital certificate will be immediately available to you on your Zamit personal page.
