The city of Jaisalmer rises from the heart of Thar Desert like a golden mirage, and in this remote place, often described as the ‘Desert Citadel’, Air Force School, Jaisalmer stands as a premier institute catering to the educational needs of the area. The school was inaugurated on 20 June 1981.Initially it had only primary classes. As years passed by, more classes were added, and today it is a senior secondary school. Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school has classes from lower Kindergarten(LKG) to Std.X .The campus is spread over an area of five acres of land with three buildings which house 20 classrooms. The classrooms are spacious, airy and well- illuminated.
