Description

Aligarh Public School, founded by Prof. A.M Khusro, the then Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University in 1977, with a view mainly to provide high standard schooling facilities. Great people with a vision leave behind a legacy and he founded Sir Syed Education Society and the Vice Chancellor of AMU as its patron. The school started functioning from nursery to class V in the first phase and then moved up to standard 10th in 1984. Later it was upgraded to +2 level in 1999. Aligarh Public School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) which is the largest board in the country. APS is a co-educational school with strength of about 1800 students on roll. The school provides free education to large number underprivileged students.
