Description
It is a West Bengal Govt. aided Co-Educational H.S. Rural School. Most students are from first generation learners and tribal poor villagers. The school campus has L shaped 6 buildings (3 on the left of entrance passage and 3 in front of the entrance passage). Among them 3 buildings are two storied. There is a huge pond within the school campus surrounded by gardens and trees. This amplifies the natural beauty of the school. The school was first established on 1937. Some buildings are in a damaged conditions. Roll strength is about 1400. Scarcity of the class room is a major problem. . Some of the buildings have been renovated but not up to the satisfaction.
