Chanakaya International School is co-educational English medium school situated at Dakoha-Talhan road, Puranpur , Jalandhar. The school imparts education from the Pre-Nursery to the senior secondary level. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and is managed by Hare Kirpa Educational Society a professional group of qualified people responsible for conceiving, developing and implementing education standards for school. The school aims to encourage the all round development of a child, fostering in him/her a love for excellence tempered by compassion and human values. ‘School cannot run on exuberant funds but with decided and pure heart’. A principal is like candle that burns itself to light the mind of staff and students. Keeping this fact in mind Hare Kirpa Society decided to open premier institution in rural vicinity of Puranpur. The foundation of the school was laid down by the chairman S. Harmail Singh Retd PPS on 2nd February in the year 2004. The budding saplings planted in 2004 have become a beautiful leafy green tree. Today we rank among the best institution in Jalandhar district.
