On 07-06-1987 a few humble servant of this locality assembled at "arimala clinic" and discussed various ways and means for the uplifts of community from its educational and financial backwardness. these members decided to establish a society by name "C.H MUHAMMED KOYA MEMORIAL EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE SOCIETY,KANHANGAD" The society was registered in 1990 under the society registration act vide register No :118/90.
