DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL, MOONIDIH is one of the schools of the educational revolution made by Late N. D. Grover, the then Regional Director, DAV Public Schools, Ranchi Zone. This school was established in the year 1984 in collaboration with Coal India Limited in order to provide quality education to the children of the BCCL employees and the people of the locality as well. It was undoubtedly a very honest and sincere effort of the then, Personnel Manager, Mr. V. R. Joshi, Moonidih Project, General Manager, Mr. A. K. Sahay, Moonidih Project and, Chief Managing Director, Mr. C. S. Jha, BCCL Koyla Bhawan who personally took utmost interest and also met the then, Regional Director, Late N. D.
