Description
Established in 1990 and situated at Tuishimi Village just few minutes walking distance on the Eastern side of NH-39, the Mahatma Gandhi Evergreen Higher Secondary School was started with just 45 pupils and staff of five teachers for K.G. to Class –IV. Initially, the School started in a thatch house on rent. Gradually by the grace of God. It started getting bigger and better. Eventually in 1992 it was a turning point in the history of this School. That, it was recognized by the Govt. of Manipur as a Junior high School and a new building having thirteen rooms constructed in the owned land of the School. Moreover, it was compelled to suddenly upgraded up t Class-X in September 1992 to accommodate the displaced Naga students who left their former schools due to outbreak of Naga-Kuki Conflict.
