It was back in the year 2003, a few educated unemployed youths of greater Barpeta Road town realised the importance of a CBSE school at Barpeta Road. The prima-facie reason behind this was that though the town and its suburban area has mushroom growth of schools, affiliated to state board, yet hundreds of brilliant students had been opting for the CBSE curriculum and migrating to different destinations from Barpeta Road in search of CBSE Schools. Barpeta Road, being the first commercial hub in entire Lower Assam (North Bank of Brahmaputra) and a fast growing town opens avenues for various Banks, L.I.C, Govt. Offices, Non Govt. Organisations, Hospitals, Schools and Colleges, Forest- Offices, Tele Communication Companies etc.
