The School was started in 1958 by S.F.N. sisters to cater to educational needs of young boys/girls of the locality and surrounding villages. The School which is recognized by the Govt.of Goa is owned and managed by Holy Family of Nazareth Educational Society, which belongs to Christian religious minority group and therefore enjoys the rights and privileges guaranteed by Article 30(i) of the constitution of India. It is registered under Societies Registration Order No.56 dated 31-10-1966 The Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Family of Nazareth to which S.F.N Sisters belong was founded by Rev.Fr.Faustino de Souza,on 16TH June 1935,to help the poor and needy.
