Sulabh Public School is the first of its kind in India. It was established in 1992 by Padma Bhusan Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, the founder of Sulabh International Social Service Organisation,for the children of scavengers along with other children. The idea behind the school is “Education alone can empower the weak and the poor”. The school aims to prepare and bring the children from weaker section of the society for a better life and to bring them to the main stream of the society. It brings quality education within the reach of children from the untouchable class of the society. Sulabh Public School provides education in English medium to the children of scavengers and follow the ratio of 60-40.
