Every parent’s primary concern- health of his/her child!
‘Health is wealth’, old yet very relevant saying even in today’s times. The children of the 21st century are very sharp when it comes to technology and knowing things(again the credit goes to the internet). But at the same time they are very lazy, they are suffering from obesity-related problems, and fall sick very frequently because of low immunity. All these problems affect their academic performance.
Therefore, here we have some tips for parents dealing with all these problems-
Healthy food- does your child drink milk? Does he/she eat vegetables and fruits? Does he/she complete the breakfast? If the answer is no, then you know what to do. Milk, fruits, vegetables, dry fruits and egg/meat etc., are a very important source of nutrition for your child. Therefore, make sure your child is in-taking sufficient nutrients to boost immunity and energy for all the physical and mental activities of the day.
Say no to junk food- junk food or fast food is the major reason behind the increasing rate of problems related to obesity. Cutting or optimizing the junk food from the diet of your child is a wise step towards fighting with health problems.
Physical exercise- gone are the days when children use to play in the playground for hours until they were forced by parents to return home. Nowadays, playgrounds are replaced by commercial construction and children are seen hooked to the screens of computer or phone. Lack of physical exercise is another major reason behind obesity and low immunity. Therefore, it is high time to enroll your children in sports activities. Physical exercise is important for the overall development of a child.
Sleeping pattern- your biological clock adapts with your sleeping patterns, therefore, by disturbing your sleeping pattern you also disturb your biological clock. Therefore, it is important to reiterate some values to children like ‘early to bed, early to rise’, eight hours of sound sleep, keeping yourself away from digital devices one hour before bedtime etc..
We hope these tips help parents concerned with increasing health issues among children.
