This symposium is the second episode in a series of ten symposia aimed at teachers, headteachers, department heads and other stakeholders in education. During this symposium, we’ll look at the importance of communication in education. We’ll discuss why communication in 21st_century education is not just about effective message delivery from teachers to students but also a fundamental element in the development of future-ready skills such as collaboration, critical-thinking, problem-solving and active listening. We’ll also examine ways in which teachers can enhance their students' communication abilities along with their own, to cultivate a relationship of trust and mutual respect among themselves, their colleagues and the parents of their students.
