This symposium is the sixth episode in a series of ten symposia aimed at teachers, headteachers, department heads and other stakeholders in education. During this symposium, we’ll look at the importance of pedagogical knowledge and discuss ways in which it can equip teachers with the ability to create a positive, supportive and inclusive environment that is conducive to learning. We’ll examine ways in which teachers can make education student-centred, relevant and authentic and create engaging and interactive lessons that promote critical thinking, problem solving and creativity. We’ll also look at why teachers with good pedagogical knowledge are better equipped to make a positive impact on their students’ personal and academic success
