Description
The Air Force School, Gorakhpur is a recognized School up to XIIth class and affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. It is an ISO 9001:2015 certified school. It Functions under the aegis of the IAF Educational and Cultural Society registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860. The School was established in 1964 with a limited number of children in Old Project (OP) area of the Air Force Station. In the course of time it grew from strength to strength and in 1984 the school shifted to its permanent accommodation in New Project (NP) area. It’s Kindergarten (KG) Wing, however, continues to be located in the Old Project.
