The parent body of Anand Vihar School is Vanita Samaj founded by late Dr.(Mrs) V.Karanjgaonkar and late Mrs. Kamla Nerulkar in March 1960. The School was started in September 1963 & flourishing with fervour. The Vanita Samaj is being run by experienced, matured and dedicated women of society who dedicatedly working involuntary for the welfare of students. Anand Vihar School is an English medium School co-educational institution managed by a School Committee comprising honorary members of Vanita Samaj, Principal & Government representatives. The School celebrated its silver jubilee in December, 1987.
