Assam Rifles Public School, Jorhat was established in October 1977 at its present location at Jorhat. At its initiation it offered I to III classes with a handful of students. In the year 2005 it received affiliation for running XI & XII classes & in the session 2007-08 made history as its first batch of XII went for the boards. Gradually, it grew from strength to strength and now stands tall & proud with a qualified competent faculty of teachers.
