Description
HistoryBinodini Girls’ High School- a premise institute in South Kolkata – has been celebrating her Platinum Jubilee with pomp and grandeur throughout this year, ie 2013. The school dates back to the year 1938, during the pre World War days when man and the world were both in turmoil. Realizing the necessity of women education, Dhakuria resident, Shri Harendranath Chatterjee an Zamindar of Dhaka, Bijgao, donated land for the school in the name of his wife, Smt. Binodini Devi, thus fulfilling the wish of his son, Shree Sachindranath Chatterjee,an ardent educationist.
