Description
The foundation stone of Chandra Shaikhar Sr. Sec. Public School (C.S.P.S) was laid on October 1st 1989 by Late Prof. Rakesh Chandra in the loving memory of his father Late Shri Chandra Shaikhar. Construction pursued and the school started rendering its services from December 1st 1989, as a co-educational English medium public school, to the whole community without any discrimination of cast, creed or religion. This sapling of pedagogy was liked, admired and nourished by the entire community and it began to grow to heights soon. This institution is located in Ram Nagar colony of Roorkee by the Delhi-Dehradun Highway amidst picturesque surroundings away from the hustle-and-bustle of the dense city.
