Description

The Christ Church Jabalpur Diocesan High School of today was first known as the St. Paul's Church Primary School established in 1920 by the Missionaries. The School even had a Hostel at that time. Two lady missionaries from Scotland worked to impart education to the children of the area and in 1944 when recognition was granted to the school by the Government, the Primary School was renamed as the Smyth High School after these two missionaries. In 1951 recognition for the school to run as a Middle School was received.
