Christha Jyothi School is started in 1996 June under the St.Thomas Education Society(R.) in Kellur ward, Arkalgud taluk headquarters in Hassan Dt. St. Thomas education society is coordinating the educational apostolate and services of St.Paul's Province Mysore. St. Paul's province is one of the provinces of the CMI(Carmelites of Mary Immaculate)congregation spread all over the world. St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara is the founder and patron of this religious congregation which champions the social, spiritual and educational transformation.
