DAV Public School, Gokulpur, Pakur was incepted in the year 1998 in a rented building of Bazar Samiti with the help of the local Managing Committee to cater the educational needs of the district town Pakur (Jharkhand) with the vibrant spirit of ten (10) teachers and one hundred twenty (120) students. Today it is a CBSE affiliated school upto +2 level, with a band of forty (40) well-qualified Teachers and 1500 students are imparting quality education in a lush green environment far from the din and bustle of the town.
