It was the dream of Hon’ble Dr. R.P. Singh C.M.D. Power Grid Corp .of India Ltd. and the invincible will power of Hon’ble Regional Director and Vice President D.A.V. College Managing Committee, New Delhi-55, Sh. N.D.Grover to give to light and educate the students of such a remote area of Pusauli, Sh. J. Vashudeven, the then Power Secretary Govt. of India inaugurated the school on 13th April 2001. The school is sponsored by Power Grid Corp .of India Ltd. The school was started with a small number of 62 students in the Bachelor Field Hostel of Power Grid. Since then the school has travelled a long distance.
