DAV Pub. School Dehra came into existence in the year 1985 to cater the needs of children who were living in the area of Dehra Sub-division. That time most of the employees of this area were serving in defence & at times their families were migrated from place to place. Mostly their wards received education in CBSE institutions & moreover there was no CBSE affiliated institution with in the radius of 50km. In order to provide quality education eminent educationist, philanthropist & staunch Arya Samaji of the area took initiative to mobilize their resources with the help of most generous & altruistic people to bring this institution in the anal of DAV educational history.
