Description
The school having started by the ladies of Deepika Mohila Sanghati, Rourkela in the year 1976 has now reached a new height of academic excellence with the active support of Rourkela Steel Plant. The School building and other infrastructure are provided by Rourkela Steel Plant. The school management along with the Deepika English Medium School Society is controlled by its Governing Body. The school after its metamorphosis is now a full-fledged Higher Secondary School affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, with laboratory facility in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer, Social Studies and Mathematics. Students are encouraged and prepared by a team of dedicated and qualified teachers to excel not only in academics but also in the field of Sports, NCC, Scout & Guide, Music, Dance and other branches
