D.T.E.A. R.K. Puram was established in 1964 and raised to the level of Higher Secondary School in 1968. Over a span of four and half decades it has matured into a prestigious institution with about 1000 students and dedicated staff. The school can proudly claim for having trained several generations of south Indian students in addition to the students from non-Tamil community, who have grown into distinguished citizens in all walks of life: doctors, beaurocrats, scientists, musicians, artists and other professional's. We also have number of teachers in our team who are ex-students themselves.
