Don Bosco School Bandel, founded in January 1978, is an English Medium, Anglo-Indian School for Catholics and Anglo-Indian boys founded and administered by the Salesians of Don Bosco. It is a minority institution belonging to the Catholic Church. Provision is also made for the admission of non-Catholic boys. It is recognized by the Education Department of the Government of West Bengal and affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. Don Bosco Bandel fulfills the vision of St. John Bosco, Priest and Educator of the 19th century.
