Description
Govt. Sec.School Lingtam was established in the year 1969 as "Community School".The school was then, run by the contribution of the community till 1970.Government started giving Grant-in-Aid at the rate of Rs 60/-per month wef.1st March1970.It was fully recognised as Govt. School wef 01.08.1972. It was upgraded as Junior High School in the year 1984 and as Secondary school in 13.03. 2002. It is approximately 84 kms away from the Headquarter Gangtok and lies in the extreme East of Sikkim.
