Description
The Sree Narayana Educational Charitable Trust was registered in 1992 at Thrissur by 15 settlers who belonged to Sree Narayana organizations with the main objective of starting a CBSE school. Thus came being, Gurukulam Public School. The Trust, in July 1992, in a rented building on M G Road, Thrissur. Just as the great oak grows from a humble seed, Gurukulam Public School too had a humble beginning. The School had a KG class with 6 children. In 1993, school was shifted to our own building on 30 cents of land at Poonkunnam with KG section and 1st standard . In 1994, Gurukulam Public School entered a new phase when the Trust acquired about 8 acres of land on the serenely located Aykunnu hills in Venginissery Village, which is 8 kms. away from town.
