Description
Guwahati Public School, one of the wings of the ‘Assam Adarsha Vidyalaya Sanstha’ registered under Registration of Societies Act XXI of1960 (No. 0449 of 0981-82) was started in a rented House of Bamunimaidam, Guwahati with Late B.D. Sarma as its Principal. The School was subsequently shifted to its permanent site at Punjabari within greater Guwahati city on a Hill top surrounded by the ever green forests and scenic beauty of hilly-ranges aloof from the din and bustle of the city. The location of the school besides natural beauties provides desired educational environment.
