Description
This school is a symbol of real 'Shradhanjli' to our late prime minister Smt. Indira Gandhi sacrificed her life for strengthening the unity of our nation. The school came into existence on 14th January 1996(Makar Sankranti, Sambat 2052) with only thirteen students enrolled with three teachers under a retired experienced teacher as their principal. Initially, the aim of this school was to give primary education in English medium under the syllabus of C.B.S.E. in such rural areas of district-Palamau. It was too difficult for the principal to manage a school in such an area but he was encouraged by local government institutions and N.G.O to go forward in imparting quality education to poor children of this area.
