Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Datia is situated at Beekar village. JNV Beekar, Distt. Datia functioning from 08/08/1988 in the temporary building at Beekar village. The Vidyalaya shifted to its permanent building (Academic block) on 13th Jan. 2002. "The Navodaya Vidyalaya System is unique experiment unparalleled in the annals of school education in India and elsewhere. The National Policy on Education-1986 envisaged the setting up of residential schools, to be called Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas that would bring out the best of rural talent.
