It is just 100 to 15o meters away from the river Bank of Subansiri. Being beautifully located amidst of valley it is known for its adorable scenic beauty. It is also exactly opposite to Dumporijo which is a bigger rural agglomeration with the river Subansiri flowing in between which is not navigable except winters.
