The year 1987 marked an auspicious beginning when the foundation stone for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya,Azamgarh was laid. The school campus covers around 20 Acres with its buildings connected by wide paths and offering spectacular views at every nook and corner. These buildings include the beautiful administrative building, academic building, MP Hall, well equipped labs, smart classroom, library, internet connection and the modern state of art infrastructure newly-refurbished student hostels and staff houses.
