Kendriya Vidyalaya Kalimpong, a unit of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, was established on the campus of 164 Mtn Division, an Army establishment in 1985 at Durpin in Kalimpong. Kalimpong is a beautiful Hill Station which is situated in the eastern Himalayan range of District Kalimpong, West Bengal. Kalimpong has some extremely captivating tourist spots like DELO POINT, RELLY RIVER VIEW, BUDDHIST MONASTRY and for sports-loving people too, there are avenues for adventurous activities like mountaineering, rafting, etcetera.
