K.V. Kasauli was established on 23rd July 1986 in Air Force Station Kasauli by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan New Delhi, an autonomous body of Human Resource and Development ministry Govt. of India, New Delhi to cater the needs of children of Air Force Station by Grade II Principal Sh.Prem Lal Dabral under the chairmanship of Gp K.K. S. Vekantraman , Stn Commander of AFS. Since then the Vidyalaya has never looked back and grown from strength to strength and now it is a full fledged single section Senior Secondary School with Science , Commerce and Humanities Streams at + 2 level. The present Vidyalaya is running under the leadership of Grade I Principal Mr. Bidyut Bikash Mahato, a team of dedicated teachers and above all our worthy visionary chairman Gp Capt James P Daniel , Stn Commander.
