Description
This Vidyalaya started functioning on February 1992 in a semi permanent building constructed by the Rubber Board with 220 students and a team of 16 staff, 10 teaching and 6 non teaching. It was upgraded to the +2 stage with Science Stream from the session 1997 and 1998. The Vidyalaya got its permanent building in July 2000. It has grown by age and strength of inmates. Today the Vidyalaya has an effective strength of 1053 in classes 1-12. It has got two streams (Science and Commerce) at +2 level. We have 3 sections for class I, II, III. As far as the staff is concerned, its strength has gone up from 16 to 41,31 teaching and 9 non teaching. Vidyalaya has 12 staff quarters.
