Kendriya Vidyalaya Eastern Air Command was established on 1st February 1966 under the able leadership of Shri P.C.Jain who was the first principal of the Vidyalaya.Gradual year wise expansion in classes and sections leading to present status Gradual year wise expansion in classes and sections leading to present status. There was only one section of each class in 1966 from class VI to XI . In 1968 Primary section from class I to V started. Subsquently classes in two sections and three section started. At present three sections in each class are running.
