Description
Kendriya Vidyalaya, OFD, Raipur was opened within the set policies of KVS in September 1981 up to class V in a temporary structure provided by Ordnance Factory authorities. In August 1994, the Vidyalaya was shifted to its present campus, that includes the Vidyalaya building and 21 units of residential quarters covering an area of 12 acres of land. In March, 2000 KV OFD was declared Model School with all modern amenities and well established infrastructure, working Computer Labs, Audio Visual Room with OHP and LCD Projector, TV, Music System, VCR and well equipped Science Laboratories , SUPW Lab. And well equipped Resource Room under the COMMON MINIMUM PROGRAMME for primary section. At present there are three sections in each class right from Class I to X AND 01 SECTIONS OF Commerce Stream
