Description
Mar Baselios School was founded with a view of sustaining the long –cherished desire of a remote hamlet to have a school to cater to their academic needs. Established in 1999, it is the largest among its kind in a 15 km circumference. The founder who was an academician himself had this in mind when he conceived the idea of a school in rustic surroundings. The lamp has been on the pedestal since it was inaugurated by the then C.B.C.I President, His Grace Cyril Mar Baselios. That was a simple beginning reminding us of the dictum "The beginning of all things are small.
