Mount Carmel School, Thakurdwara, Palampur, Owned and managed by the Carmelite Charitable Society in Collaboration with the sisters of the Sacred Heart, is one of the most coveted destinations of the educational excellence in the District of Kangra. Moved and inspired by the compassionate love of Jesus Christ and joining hands with the great visionaries of our nation the Carmelite Fathers launched a mission of educational excellence under the powerful patronage of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on 18 March 1992 in this rustic ambience to reach out to the remote and underprivileged children.
