National English Medium Higher Secondary School Chemmad is an unaided govt recognized institution. It was established in 1994 by Kanniyath Ahammed Musliyar Memorial Trust for providing value based education with high standards and to generate, disseminate and preserve knowledge. From a humble beginning in a small building with a handful students the school took giant strides towards progress and expansion. In a short span of time it experienced un precedented growth in admission and quality improvement and the school was shifted to a new premise. Today it has emerged as one of the prestigious schools in the district with a total strength of 2400 students.
