Description
S.D. Jain Higher Secondary School is a premier school in Dimapur in the state of Nagaland. The school is located in the heart of the town near to the Jain Temple. The school was established in the year 1947. The school is managed by the Shree Digambar Jain Samaj of Dimapur. The school had a humble beginning wherein the classes were only up to the Primary level. Gradually the school went on to become a full-fledged High School by the year 1965. In the year 2002, the school was upgraded to higher secondary with Commerce & Science stream. The School has also got permission to open Arts Stream from 2021. This school is one of the few schools in Nagaland which has been accorded permanent recognition by the Government of Nagaland and by the Nagaland Board of School Education.
