According to this statement of Swami Vivekananda, education is not limited to the teaching of certain subjects only, its purpose is wide and comprehensive, in this the all-round development of the child. The concept of (physical, mental, intellectual, moral and spiritual) and social development involves providing an environment and opportunity for the development of individual abilities, talents and virtues along with formal education. With this aim of education, the “Saraswati Shishu Mandir” scheme was started in the year 1952. Today Vidya Bharati All India Institute of Education is maintaining a prominent identity and place in the country.
