A school team works within the educational system to help children with Emotional, Social, and Academic guidance. The goal of school as a team is to collaborate with Parents, Teachers, and Students to promote a healthy learning environment that focuses on the needs of children. They apply their understanding of Human Development, Psychopathology, Learning Theories, the Principles of effective instruction, and the impact of parent and family functioning to help children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral and learning support. Provide professional development to teachers and other school personnel on topics such as remedial instruction, positive behavior intervention programming, and carry out individual, group, and family counseling so that as a whole the children are guided.
